Chapter 5 : The Divergence - The Global Assembly

Where kinship walked on mirrored blades,

And brotherhood wore veils and shades,

Not every ally shared your creed,

But every rival sought to bleed.

In halls where power’s ink were signed,

Ambition masked the ties that bind.

Where honor breathed in iron tones,

And pride carved thrones from common stones.

DyoLand Assembly:

Two fires burn beneath one roof,

Both seeking truth, both held aloof.

The game is played with silent swords—

On rival grounds... at brethren courts.

Two paths entwined, yet worlds apart,

One beats with reason, one with heart.

A game of chance, a dance of fate,

Where logic and sentiment intertwine.

Tugged between the past and new,

Where choices bloom and change is due,

The future calls with whispered voice—

In tangled threads, the mind is choice.

For when the heart and mind collide,

In fractured light, no place to hide.

In this divergence, truth is gained—

Where neither reason nor logic are chained.

The Council Chambers : NeoLand

Day 1: Session MMC

The Tier 1 administrators gathered around a circular table at the center of the Hall. Behind them in layered stairways the Tier 2 Admins. Holographic panels shimmered with socio-economic analytics and projections.

Myrdin’s gaze swept across the council. “The latest surge of thrill-seekers is escalating beyond predicted parameters. Several have even breached safety protocols.”

A young administrator from Tier 2 interjected, “We could impose stricter limitations — restrict access to extreme sports — enforce compliance.”

Myrdin shook his head slowly. “And deny freedom to those who seek the storms? You know as well as I do, that desires cannot be legislated away. Some will always push boundaries...”

T1 Liora, tapped the hologram, highlighting AI-predicted consequences. “Their actions even risk injury and systemic strain. Yet, complete suppression could ignite rebellion in ways we cannot foresee.”

Myrdin leaned back, fingers steepled. “This is why we exist at Tier 1. Governance in Dyostrum is neither cold AI rule nor emotional human whim; it is an integrated, multidimensional deliberation. Our task is to weigh ethics, emotional resonance, and logical projection together. Not to dictate behavior, but to contain risk while respecting human agency.”

A pause fell over the chamber. A storm outside NeoLand’s Glass Dome roared like a living entity, and in its chaos, the council saw the reflection of society itself — untamable, unpredictable, yet navigable through wisdom.

“Then our path is clear,” said Liora, voice steady. “AI guardians continue monitoring — intervene only where major harm is imminent.”

Myrdin nodded. “Yes. Freedom without guidance is perilous; guidance without freedom is tyranny. We need to strike a balance... as always.”

The chamber hummed softly, a low resonance of magnetics and servers blending with distant storm winds.

T1 Mogred cleared his throat, his gaze sweeping the assembly.

“Colleagues,” he began, “we have a new phenomenon emerging among the thrill-seekers: full zero-G experiences. Individuals are skydiving from orbital platforms — the ultimate extreme. Entirely unregulated. Entirely untested at scale.”

A ripple of unease passed through the council. Some fingers drummed nervously on the table, holographic projections flickering with consequential probabilities.

T1 Prof. Fujimore, stepped forward. “We are aware.” she said, voice calm. “The main issue here are the risks of collisions with orbital and inner atmospheric systems.”

Myrdin exhaled slowly, the weight of responsibility evident in his expression. “The insatiable human spirit...” he murmured.

Liora, ever meticulous, tapped a series of holographic icons. “The AI simulations indicate that, without intervention, accident probability climbs exponentially.”

A tense silence fell over the assembly. Even seasoned T1 admins felt a pang of awe — zero-G skydiving was no longer science fiction; it was a tangible human impulse testing the limits of laws, physics, and ethics.

“The chamber will recess and convene back at 14 hundred hours. All T1 members would be require to be present for the afternoon session.” Myrdin, knew the matter needed to be discussed in detail…

14:00 hours The Council Chambers : NeoLand

Myrdin’s gaze hardened as a Tentative Decree was projected across the chamber.

The zero-G phenomenon, presents hazards both to the participants and orbital sub-orbital and inner atmospheric equipment and infrastructure.

Effective immediately, all full zero-G activities will be regulated until proper safety protocols are finalized.

Until further noticed, full zero-G experiences shall only be permitted below 90 kilometers altitude and strictly within designated zones where the descent paths do not intersect with sub-sonic, super-sonic or hyper-sonic flight routes. The 90 kilometer upper limit will significantly hamper the capacity of reaching orbital speeds. Until further noticed all zero-G activities, will thus require to be staged either from floating platforms or suborbital flights. All zero-G operations will require prior approval and coordination from AI safety and trajectory management. This is for prevention of injury and accidental collisions.

Mogred nodded gravely. “We cannot allow thrill-seekers to inadvertently compromise crucial systems — transportation, communication, orbital/ sub-orbital. Human life is paramount, but safety of infrastructure cannot be overlooked.”

Liora added, “The AI guardians will dynamically monitor and enforce altitude and trajectories. Unauthorized excursions above 90 kilometers or in unauthorized zones will trigger immediate retrieval or containment protocols. Participants will still experience near-zero G safely, but the broader orbital environment will remain excluded until safe orbital routes are finalized.”

Myrdin leaned back, expression thoughtful. “Balance must be preserved. Freedom for the individual, but never at the expense of the collective or the system that sustains it.”

Prof. Fujimore... “The motion is now open for voting...”

This is governance in Dyostrum: Integrated, Multidimensional, and Ever Vigilant.

When the Council rose that evening, the chamber dimmed to soft auroral hues. No names were spoken, no faces recorded.

For in Dyostrum, those who ascended to Tier 1 surrendered their public identity. Their profiles were sealed, their likenesses erased from civic memory. They became custodians of the equilibrium — not rulers, not idols.

Each wore a simple mantle of mirrored fabric that reflected only the chamber’s light, never their own faces. Their anonymity was their shield, their vow.

Anonymity is not exile; it is clarity. We serve not as individuals, but as the conscience of Dyostrum. Let no hand tremble for fear of being framed, nor voice bend for fame.

The assembly bowed their heads in assent. Above, holographic sigils shimmered — not of names, but of virtues: Equilibrium, Vigilance, Compassion, Wisdom, and Ethics.

And outside, no one knew who among them now sat at the helm of civilization — only that they were chosen not for who they were, but for what they upheld.
